For the fourth year in a row, Ted Howell, a shareholder with the firm of Barron & Redding, has been recognized by his peers as a member of Florida Super Lawyers Rising Stars. The Rising Stars recognizes the top attorneys in the state under the age of 40 and represents less than 2.5% of the attorneys in the state. Ted maintains a broad-based civil litigation practice.
Barron & Redding, P.A. is pleased to announce that Governor Rick Scott has appointed Jeffrey Carter to the 14th Judicial Nominating Commission (“JNC”). Mr. Carter fills a vacant seat on the JNC and was appointed from a list of nominees submitted by the Florida Bar for a term beginning January 25, 2016 and ending July 1, 2019.
September 2015: Barron & Redding is pleased to announce the addition of a new associate, Brandt Carlson. Brandt holds a BA degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Florida and a JD degree from the University of Florida.
Barron & Redding is a proud sponsor, along with the Martin Theatre, Emerald Coast Rotary Club, and Soldiers’ Angels/NW Florida Brigade, in providing a very special day for the WWII, Korean, and Vietnam Veterans in residence at the Sims State Nursing Home in Springfield. “Movies at the Martin” will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd at the Martin Theatre located in downtown Panama City. This year they will be showing a light comedy “Donovan’s Reef”, starring John Wayne and Lee Marvin, a post WWII “non-shooting” story set in Hawaii. The Vet’s motorcade, which will be escorted by police and Warriors Watch Riders motorcycles, from Sims Nursing Home to the Martin Theatre, makes the trip even more special.
If you are interested in making a donation that would help with transportation, movie, popcorn, cokes, and a Carrabba’s Italian Grill lunch expenses, please contact John Reichard at 850-774-7500.
