Holly K. Melzer joined the firm as an associate in January of 2008. Holly received a J.D. from the University of Florida, cum laude, in 2006. While at the University of Florida, she served the John Marshall Bar Association as Community Service Co-Chair by organizing fund-raising events such as the annual golf tournament and orchestrating Make-A-Difference Day. Holly also participated in the Virgil Hawkins Legal Clinic by assisting pro se litigants.
Holly pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida where she received a B.S. in Telecommunications. Prior to attending law school, Holly worked as a fund-raiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, raising over $2 million for the organization. Before joining Barron & Redding, Holly served the 14th Judicial Circuit as Assistant State Attorney.
Holly practices in the fields of general civil litigation, creditor's rights, and real estate transactions.
