On May 5, 2018, the Bay County Bar Association partnered with the Panhandle Runners Club for the 33rd annual Race Judicata 5K. Chaired by Barron & Redding, the event had approximately 70 runners participate in the race. Ethan Mines, a sophomore at the University of Alabama, won the 5K in 16:34. Twelve year-old Rory Claussen of the Shaldera Track Club won the Women’s title for the second year in a row in 20:22. All proceeds raised from the event will be donated to the Shaldera Track Club, a local area nonprofit.
